A perfectly tuned chassis, the best possible traction and effective brakes all help reduce the risk of an accident, together with electronic chassis control systems such as Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) or Electronic Damper Control (EDC).
The complex task of coordinating all these components is handled by a high-performance control system that is networked with your BMW's other electronic safety systems via a digital bus. Incoming data from various sensors, such as those of the Automatic Stability Control (ASC), the tyre pressure indicator and the Digital Motor Electronics, is continuously evaluated and shared with other systems.
