In a BMW can be a lot of driving, comfort and infotainment functions configure the needs of the driver out. The individual settings of the control devices are automatically saved when you exit the vehicle in a profile file and associated with the remote control key used. Once the key is reused, the assigned settings are activated. With three radio keys three driver profiles can thus be saved. This is as useful if several people go about the same BMW as a company vehicle. Alternatively - or if only one remote control key is used - can be accessed from the on-board computer's various driver profiles via the Control Display (Settings> Profiles). From there, a profile can also rename, delete, or export it to use it for another BMW. This is done with a USB stick via the USB port or by the profile is first deposited on the BMW Online portal and called later from there.
