Installing an ISOFIX child seat in your BMW is simple, thanks to the integrated ISOFIX connection points.
ISOFIX is used world-wide as the standard for child-seat installation in automobiles. In a few simple steps, you can securely install your child seat on the integrated attachment points. Complicated procedures involving the seatbelts are eliminated. These are firmly anchored to the vehicle's bodyshell, making the seat extremely stable and practically eliminating any chance of it tipping.
When not in use, the ISOFIX connectors disappear between the seat base and back, so that adult passengers are completely undisturbed by them. ISOFIX children seats can be used in the rear seats or in the front passenger seat; in this case, the passenger airbag must be deactivated using a key switch.
